What Fun

Wow the holidays are over and a new year is about to begin. Amazing how it seems like this year had only just begun. Brycen is growing so fast, he is already over 10 pounds and is such a joy to have. Tristan loves his little brother and is always kissing him and is very possessive of him. Loerya thinks he is her doll, it is just so cute. Steven turned 25 today and is at the recruiter at this very moment. Karissa is such a wonderful mom it just makes me so proud of her. Nichole still hasn't found a job but she is a trooper and is not letting it get to her. Kassie is enjoying having a new baby and you can just see the joy in her eyes as she looks at all 3 kids. Christopher graduates this year and I really am proud of him.

Every year brings new things, some good and some not so good but each and every day is a blessing as long as you have your family.

Saying good bye to a loyal companion

Today I said good bye to my loyal companion Mama dog. I rescued her froma puppy over 12 years ago. When I got her she didn't know what love was or what it was like to run and play on the grass. Needless to say these last 12 years she has had all the comforts and spoiling any dog could have. She slept on the pillow next to my head and snuggled with me while I read. She sure had me trained because when she wanted a belly rub or a treat she just knew how to insist on getting it. She will surely be missed. Good bye my dear Mama dog. You will be forever loved and missed.

It's a snow day

Crisp breezes, red noses and rosy cheeks, ahhh it's a snow day. Nana loved seeing her lil darlins having fun in the snow. Loerya was tired and cold so she didn't last very long but the other two.... well getting them back in was almost impossible. Tristan and Serenity loved having snow dumped on their head and was just throwing snow at everyone. Of course they also had to clean the snow from the car and what a fun sight that was.

What a wonderful day to paint

I had such fun today playing with the kids and painting. Amidst all the complaints from their mothers that they were going to get dirty I still won out and the kids had fun. They did have paper but they soon got bored with that and then the real fun began. Im not sure if they had more fun painting the counter or themselves but I had so much fun watching them and the reactions of their mothers. I am such a Nana, and I say that with great pride can you tell?

Did I say lots of pictures or what?

These are the pictures we had taken in the hospital of Bryson. He really is such a joy and his big brother Tristan is so protective of him. Loerya just loves all over him and Serenity, his cousin, wants to take him home to Washington. Nana just loves the heck out of all her little people.

Picture Day

Yes I did it. I took all 4 kids to get their pictures done today. Runny noses, screams of not wanting "that" outfit, and getting the right shoes and hair done we are ready to head out. Getting into the car then out again and into the studio without getting dirty with all the snow was a bit of a chore but we did it. Now getting the kids to smile on demand was really quite funny but with lots of weird sounds and tons of laughter it was accomplished with cheer. For those with little ones you will appreciate that this was done with 3 little ones that had a verrrrry little nap. Loerya was her usual cheerful laid back darlin that just smiled and went with the flow. Tristan and Serenity was another story but hey we did it. I feel blessed that it was done with any measure of success. In the end my lil' darlins are forever on disc.

YEAH he's here

Yes Brycen Anthony Wagner made his appearance today at 11:29 am. He weighed in at a whopping 8 poundss and 6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Yes he is a little on the large side and kinda got stuck on his entrance into this bright and cold world but Kassie was a trooper and still brought him into this world with 4 pushes. AMAZING!!!! He doesnt really cry but boy is he a talker, he will just lay there and make all kinds of noises that I am sure he is just telling us all kinds of stories. He stole Nana and Papa's heart instantly with his dimples in his cheeks and on his chin and of course that cute little bottom lip pout is just the cutest ever.

Mason (daddy) was so overwhelmed with emotion that he had to sit down as the tears strolled down his cheeks. He didnt really get the chance to adjust with Loerya because she just came way quick so the emotion came I am sure I just believe it happened in private as it quieted down and he held his precious daughter.

Kassie held her beautiful son for the first time and you could just see the love and emotion on her face. It really was quite beautiful to see. She carried him under her heart for 9 months feeling him grow and knowing only she could do this for him so when he arrived there was that very first moment of recognition and overwhelming love that just consumes a mom. What a sight to see.

Aunty Karissa is just so very proud and in love with her new nephew. She was amazing through the whole labor and delivery, making jokes and getting Kassie to laugh when she was hurting before the LOVELY epideral.

Now Tristan, Loerya and Serenity will not be able to be introduced to their brother, and cousin untill he comes home on Saturday because the each have either a cold or the flu. Hopefully they are better and fever free when he gets home or we may have to keep them seperated delaying their bonding time a little longer.

Enjoy the pics

OH what fun

WOW I am having so much fun. It has been a wonderful week of playing and just hanging out. Tomorrow Bryson has no choice but to make his appearance as Kassie is getting induced. The only way out of that is if he chooses to come today =) and that would be good to. Tristan, Loerya and Serenity are still adjusting to each other and sometimes a good old brawl breaks out but hey thats kids for ya.

Christmas decor is out and the music and scents are going strong. I am trying to talk Karissa into staying for Christmas but I know she cant but a Nana can always hope.
