NATURE

Well nature sure didn't like us last night, we heard a big boom twice last night and couldn't figure out what made the noise. Well this morning we figured it out, our two lovely ball willow trees are gone. The one in the back yard just split under the force of the winds and it didn't help that beatles had gotten to it also. Then just becasue with one down we started checking the other one, it to had a bad case of beatles and would soon succumb to the laws of gravity so it went down also. Now I have a very cluttered yard full of limbs and when they get that cleared away I will have a very bare yard. Now the trees being gone is really no big deal the roots were awful for my lawn and driveway. We wanted them gone and replaced with different trees HOWEVER..... my flower beds look awful and my poor beautiful tulips and lillies are destroyed, now that upsets me.

A day out with papa

Ahhhh What a day. Tristan spent the day with papa doing "man" things that nana doesn't like to do. So off to Little Moab they went, leaving the house at 7:00 am to head south with other various men (and 3 brave ladies) to do their thing. Climbing rocks in the jeep and eating McDonalds, which is somewhere Nana will not go. They were out there all day not getting home till after 5:00 pm with an exhausted little man in towe. Still in typical 3 year old fashion he had to fight sleep for fear of missing even the smallest thing in a day.

Been A Long Time I know

Well it sure has been awhile since I posted so lets see if I can get caught up. It may not neccesarily be in order but I will try my best.

I now have 2 other children in my childcare other than my grandkids and boy are we having fun.

The other day I made this fabulous dinner, Baked beans, bbq ribs a salad and 2 beautiful golden loaves of bread. I had the bread cooling on the rack (been there for about 30 to 40 minutes) when I hear Tristan just laughing up a storm. I go in there and he is helping himself to the bread and since we have been trying to get him to understand the concept of sharing he chose that moment to enact his sharing, only he was sharing with the dogs. Oh did they enjoy my bread.

Easter was fun and very relaxing. I made a turkey dinner and we hunted eggs outside in the front before the weather turned ugly. Of course around here Easter stays for a few days becasue the children just love to hunt the eggs over and over.

Kassie took the children to the doctor for a check up and boy are they just getting to be big. Tristan who is now 3 weighs in at 41 pounds and is 38 inches tall. Loerya who will be 2 on May 5 weighs in at 30 pounds and is is 36 inches tall. Brycen our little "Ducky" who is now 4 months old weighs in at 20 pounds and is 27 inches tall.

Nichole and Mason starts college in May and Christopher my youngest graduates High School soon. Kassie is enjoying her job at Focus and Steven cant wait till his job picks up a little more.

I talk to my sister a few times a week and I really enjoy that. She was able to go to California for a visit and I really wish that she would have been able to come out here to see me also. It would have been nice to actually see her, Oh well soon hopefully

Christopher was able to be 9 months pregnant for a day, it was a school assignment and he went into it with such enthusiasm. However not to long into it he was telling me I was his hero and if it was left up to men there would NEVER be an over population problem and some man somewhere would invent an artificial womb.

Yesterday I was able to spend the evening with Christina, we had signed up for a cooking class at the Newgate Mall. Well the lady didnt show so we just went to get dinner. I had such a fantastic time just sitting with her and visiting. I didnt even get home till 10pm. Now for those that know me that will shock them. For those that do not understand well I am normally out cold no later than 9pm but my preferance is to be in bed asleep by 8:30. I never felt tired I could have just continued to hang out and catch up, however both of our husbands were wondering if we were lost.

Well hopefully we can do it again soon.
