Newest family memeber

Yes I am a softy, yes I am a dog lover, and yes I am a sucker for dark brown soulful eyes. Therefore when the opportunity to get another cute adorable dog came along wellllll of course I couldn't say no and my wonderful hubby couldn't so no either. This is Molly, she is a 2 year old Beagle with lots of personality and she loves to cuddle, snuggle and sleep with me. YEAHHHH!
Just before Christmas I got my mom a beagle puppy and amazingly I get one just a few weeks later.
She loves the kids and they love her. Loerya loves playing with her because she is just the right size and very mellow.
More to come on my expanding family.

Nana's day out with the kids

Well I woke up this morning at 3:30 a.m. and thought I want a Nana's day out with the grandkids. So I told Mason and Kassie that the kids were mine today and they could just go play or whatever. So I got the kids down for a nap early and took those few moments of free time and jumped in the shower quickly got out and dressed, did my hair. Whew I made it before they woke up, now to load the car with all the baby paraphanalia and such and again I did it without them waking up, dang I'm good. ok now the baby is in his seat and I get to wake the two older ones, which is no small feet but I did it. Everyone is loaded and off we go to the bank.... of course the tellers are so nice and sweet they offer the kids a sucker, with the kids right there who could say no. Well suckers in hand we are off to Sam's club to buy pizza and then Home Depot to have lunch with Papa. Sams club in the afternoon with with 3 small kids... hmm no small feet there so luckily I had Nichole with me and she watched the kids in the car so I could run in get the pizza and run out. She heads back to her car and off we go. Home Depot was uneventful we had lunch with Papa and then bought 2 doors. Off to Walmart now.
Well Wallmart was a whole new experiance. I had picked my mom up and took her with me then Kassie met us there. We did our shopping and went to the check out where I realized that Tristan and Loerya needed to be changed. Well I get Kassie and Mason to help my mom out to the car and get Bryson settled then Kassie was to return and help me. I get Tristan and Loerya out of the cart and like any brave 2 year old he is off like a shot. Well Like any good Nana would do I grabbed Loerya and followed in hot pursuit. Luckily he heads right to the bathroom and I am right behind him he goes right to the handicap stall and I am still in hot pursuit. Well I am trying to get them changed and there is no Kassie. I am getting really irate that she hasn't came back in to help, then my phone rings and it is Kassie asking me where I am. Well I tell her I am in the ladies room changing the kids, simultaneous I hear no your not, Kassie telling me no on the phone and I hear Mason and some other man say no your not right outside the stall. Yes you heard me right I was in the men's room. Next you hear me say "OH S**T" then lots of laughter and believe me I wasn't the one laughing. Well I yell out that if there was anyone in the bathroom other than my son-in-law I was coming out. I go walking out amongst laughter and snickers with me mumbling apologies and how humiliated I was. Kassie meets me at the door laughing herself silly, all I could do was say lets go. I get in the car and of course we had to tell my mom and Kassie had to get on the phone to tell the tale of my humiliation so all knows the story now. But hey I had a Nana's day and it was sure an exciting and fun one. Lets see what the next one holds in store for me.

AHHHH the New Year

Its a new year with new beginings. A new bottom to change, a new mouth to wipe and a new body to bathe. It is just so much fun. I love having a new little one around, Tristan just loves his little brother and we all have to get HIS permission to take Bryson anywhere. If he doesnt want you to take his little brother and you still take him he has no problem following you and once your back is turned he takes his little brother back to where he thinks he should be. Loerya loves her little brother but has a few little jealousy issues with him. She wants to take his sucky and suck on it or takes his bottle and drinks it (can we saw formula yuck). She wants mommy to put the baby away so mommy can hold her, other than that she loves on him and pats him when he is laying on my bed.

Now I must say that for Christmas I got my mom a beagle puppy. She is cute with huge long ears. When I got her for my mom she was 8 weeks olds and didnt howl or bark. Now she knows how to howl and bark which is fine when she is at my moms BUT I get to puppysit and I can tell you a puppy is alot of work. Give me yelling kids and the chaos of children running and playing anyday. But potty training a puppy and trying to keep my shoes, yes MY shoes, safe from puppy teething is just more than I can deal with. Then of course those big brown eyes can melt even my anger over my leather Itallian pumps that is shredded.

This past weekend I wisked Tristan off and ran down to Gunnison, with calving season coming on soon there is alot of work that needs to be done and I thought that it would be fun for him to spend the day with papa on the farm and I could have fun sewing and quilting with the ladies. Well Tristan did spend the day with papa on the farm but Tristan would have nothing to do with it. Papa was not aloud to put him down. He would call to the pigs, kittens, cows and ducks but there was no way he was getting close to any of them it, was really quite cute. Oh well maybe next time. I am hoping to head back down in a few weeks to get our beef and spend a few days quilting and sewing.
