Its a new year with new beginings. A new bottom to change, a new mouth to wipe and a new body to bathe. It is just so much fun. I love having a new little one around, Tristan just loves his little brother and we all have to get HIS permission to take Bryson anywhere. If he doesnt want you to take his little brother and you still take him he has no problem following you and once your back is turned he takes his little brother back to where he thinks he should be. Loerya loves her little brother but has a few little jealousy issues with him. She wants to take his sucky and suck on it or takes his bottle and drinks it (can we saw formula yuck). She wants mommy to put the baby away so mommy can hold her, other than that she loves on him and pats him when he is laying on my bed.
Now I must say that for Christmas I got my mom a beagle puppy. She is cute with huge long ears. When I got her for my mom she was 8 weeks olds and didnt howl or bark. Now she knows how to howl and bark which is fine when she is at my moms BUT I get to puppysit and I can tell you a puppy is alot of work. Give me yelling kids and the chaos of children running and playing anyday. But potty training a puppy and trying to keep my shoes, yes MY shoes, safe from puppy teething is just more than I can deal with. Then of course those big brown eyes can melt even my anger over my leather Itallian pumps that is shredded.
This past weekend I wisked Tristan off and ran down to Gunnison, with calving season coming on soon there is alot of work that needs to be done and I thought that it would be fun for him to spend the day with papa on the farm and I could have fun sewing and quilting with the ladies. Well Tristan did spend the day with papa on the farm but Tristan would have nothing to do with it. Papa was not aloud to put him down. He would call to the pigs, kittens, cows and ducks but there was no way he was getting close to any of them it, was really quite cute. Oh well maybe next time. I am hoping to head back down in a few weeks to get our beef and spend a few days quilting and sewing.
